Effective April 1, 2004, Tennsco L&T prices are going up 7%. Hal
McCalla, V.P. of Sales at Tennsco states “Steel prices have risen at
least 30% in less than two months and it is projected the increases for
April, May and June could make the cost of steel 50% higher than the
November 2003 costs.”
Direct Line in a proactive move is seeking to add a
positive to this world crisis of rising steel prices. In
appreciation of its Dealers, Team Direct Line has set an industry mark
by offering to its dealers an attractive additional discount schedule to
help offset these rising costs. Effective April 02, 2004 Team Direct
Dealers will enjoy as much as and additional 9% discount on combined
orders.
Team Direct Line's President and CEO Dave Downs
stated "Our business has been growing tremendously through the
years because of our dealers and while none of us can control the world
steel market, we at Team Direct Line can help protect our dealers profit
center by giving back a little during hard times."
It is evident that by looking at the world steel
situation that this increase may not be the last one but here is a
company that trying to lessen the effect here in America. To work for a
company such as this is a great honor and to be a dealer, a partner with
Team Direct Line, is a greater honor. We care from the top down!
