A Soldiers Prayer

When I am called to serve, Dear Lord,
Wherever war may be,
Give me courage to fight the battles,
My country may ask of me.
Grace me with Your presence,
And know that I love You,
While I fight the enemy,
My country needs me to.

Help me protect my comrades,
As You expect me to,
And keep me in Your loving hands,
While I do what I must do.
I want to do my duty,
And to give the best in me,
To do what I've been called to do,
And protect our liberty.

And if, according to Your will,
I must give up my life,
Please bless with Your protecting hand,
My mother, my father and my sisters.

Jason, The judgment of a soldiers heart is proven up by the actions of his character under fire.  A great man once asked :Who does the hard things in life?"... the answer is 'those who can'.  Anyone can enlist during peacetime but enlisting during wartime takes courage and integrity to do what is right.  Your mom and dad are very proud of you as are all of us at Direct Line and every other American in this glorious land.  Thanks for keeping America a free country.  Good Luck and God Bless and keep yourself safe.

From All of us at Team Direct Line.

(Jason, I changed the last sentence from "My wife and my daughter" to "My mother, my father and my sistersr".)

Hebrews 13:21 ....Make you perfect in every good
work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ:to whom be glory for ever and ever.Amen.

Son,

Words will never express how proud I am of you. Although my hearts hurts because you are gone, your warrior spirit lifts me up and helps the pain. God could not have blessed me with a better son and I hold my head high when I tell people that my son is a freedom fighter for the US Army. God bless you and I count down the seconds until I can see you again.
Love,

Dad (proud parent of a US Soldier)

When you are gone things won’t be the same. When you are gone we will all be changed. For better or worse, we don’t know yet… but when you’re not here, we’ll watch the sunset… and know that somewhere, you see it too, and we’ll think about just how much we miss you. The family you leave here will never leave you in heart. Keep us in your thoughts and we’ll never be apart. We love and miss you so much!
