Once you've read the instructions and you are ready to run the update click the link entitled “To install quick quote version update 1.1 click here.”  This will then create a box, as shown above, CLICK SAVE.

You will then be asked what file you would like to save.  Click on DLQE_FieldlookupUpdate.  Then save to your Desktop for easy access to the file by clicking on Desktop to the left of the screen.

Once you have clicked desktop you will then want to change the File Name, highlight DLQE_FieldlookupUpdate, as shown above.

Change the file name to quick quote update as shown above.  Then click Save.

Once the Download is complete Click Open on the dialog box.
 

WinZip will then open displaying the access file to be used.  Click on the file name DLQE_FieldlookupUpdate.mdb and click EXTRACT.
 

WinZip will then want to know where to extract the file to.  We suggest extracting the file onto your Desktop for easy access.  Under the area entitled “Folders/drives:” locate and click on Desktop as shown above.  Then click EXTRACT.

The file will then be located on your Desktop.  The icon will include a file with a key entitle DLQE_FieldlookupUpdate.mdb.  Double Click the icon.

The Direct Line Quote Entry Field and Lookup Update with then start.  Make sure the are in Quote Directory: is the same as shown above.  It should read c:\directlineqe\.  Then click UPDATE.

You will then be asked if you are sure you want to continue.  Click YES.
 

Update should only take a few seconds.  When it has completed you will see a box that says Done With Update, as shown above.  Click OK

You have successfully updated your Direct Line Quote Entry Program.  You can click Quit and all changes will have taken place.  Your Direct Line Quote Entry Program is now ready to be used.
