If the Master Book states that the FOB point is "38
warehouses around the nation" then these items will
be shipped from the nearest warehouse to the
customer's location making the shipping quicker and
cheaper. Otherwise it is FOB as stated on the Master
Book Page. |
|
The master book does not list weights for products
listed on pages 204 thru 248. Attached you will
find a chart that shows you the weights for these
products, as well as if the item can be shipped UPS
or by LTL. The freight program for these items is
not based upon weight. It is based upon Net Dealer
Price. You will see a column on the chart "UPSable".
If that box has a "Y" in it it will ship UPS. If it
has an "N" it will ship LTL. |

Freight for these items is not configured the same
as the Direct Line freight program. Freight charged
on these products is a percentage of the Net Dealer
Price. If a product can be shipped via UPS then you
figure your freight by taking the Net Dealer Price
and multiplying it by 9%. There is a minimum UPS
charge of $6.00 dollars. (If the item's Net Dealer
Price is less than $67.00 dollars you will be
charged the $6.00 dollar minimum.) If the ship to
address is in Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico it must
go 2nd day air and you will need to call Direct Line
for a custom quote. |

|
If the item is not able to ship UPS then if must go
LTL. The freight charged is, as above, a percentage
of the Net Dealer Price. If a product has to go LTL
then you figure your freight by taking the Net
Dealer Price and multiplying it by 13%. There is a
minimum LTL charge of $40.00 dollars. (If the items
Net Dealer Price is less than $308.00 you will be
charged the $40.00 dollar minimum) If the ship to
address is to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico it must
be delivered to a freight forwarder. We do not
deliver outside the borders of the Continental
United States. |

If you have an order that includes items that ship
by UPS and LTL it is best practice to ship it all
LTL. If you so designate we can ship each group of
items separately. |
