REASON #1 … The Direct Line Lateral System can be installed in front of any type of existing shelving, regardless of type, height, depth or size. This is possible because there is no connection, such as overhead anti-tip arms, between the existing units and the new lateral system. Our anti-tip mechanism is built into the carriage and rear track. The existing equipment along the wall need not be taken down or disturbed in any way to install the system.
REASON #2 … The Direct Line Lateral System can accommodate virtually any type of filing equipment on the carriages … four post shelving, stackable shelving, even lateral files. All we need to know is the “footprint” of the equipment to properly size the carriage.
REASON #3 … No one offers a standard lateral carriage that is stronger and more dependable than Direct Line. Ours is constructed of 1-1/2” x 3” welded steel tubing and boasts a capacity of 1,000 lbs per foot! Even if they don’t come close to maxing out the capacity, users will find the 3” wheels roll much easier than the 2” wheels used by many other systems.
REASON #4 … Installation is fast. We’ve heard this time and again from many installers. All required hardware and leveling shim material is included. Nothing could be easier.
